What the service is
SignLink provides a simple electronic signature process. Under French law, article 1366 of the Civil Code provides that an electronic writing has the same probative force as a paper one, provided the person it comes from can be duly identified and it is drawn up and kept in conditions ensuring its integrity. Article 1367 adds that an electronic signature consists in the use of a reliable identification process guaranteeing its link with the act to which it attaches.
SignLink is not a qualified trust service provider. The service therefore does not issue a qualified electronic signature, and does not benefit from the presumption of reliability reserved for it. It builds and keeps the evidence described in the privacy policy: identity verified by one-time code, timestamped consent, IP address, and the document hash before and after signature.
Intellectual property
The name, logo, interface and code of the service belong to its publisher. The documents you upload remain yours: no rights are transferred to us, and we make no use of them beyond what signing requires.
Reporting unlawful content
Manifestly unlawful content can be reported to contact@signlink.app. Include the signing link and the reason. We do not moderate document contents up front, since we do not read them, but we act on reports.
